A Commercial Bracket

One thing that no station has done for the Superbowl is bracket 16 of the best ever Big Bowl TV spots and vote all weekend, with the winner being announced at the beginning of the game.

Musical Puzzles

In the movie “No Way Out” there was a plot element that had a CIA analyst using computer technology to slowly unscramble a photo, line by line, to identify a mole in the agency.

We did a version of that at WPGC with photos of artists that slowly, piece by piece, became revealed. Call and take a shot at IDing and win. If their guess was wrong, another small piece of the photo was unscrambled.

It’s being done with a puzzle at one of the Alpha stations.

Girl Scout Cookies

Midwest Family Communications in South Bend did “Cookie Finder” and allowed Girl Scouts to list their sale locations and times.

Cool! You should do that.

The other option would be to let five Girl Scouts and a parent each come in and pitch their personal marketing scheme and why they should get the full rpomotional force of the station put behind them.

To keep yourself from crushing some young girl’s spirit, you should do what Hot 89.9 in Ottawa did with their first round of Win A Baby: surprise all five girls with a day of spots and social media for each of them.
