I lobbed out something about spec spots last week. We’re an audio industry. People sometimes want to hear what it’s going to sound like before they commit. It’s fishing and Creativity is the Bait. Hot 104.5 in Knoxville had a request from a grocer client to come in and blow them away with a spec promotion. They created this… and when it was done….the client actually applauded.

A ”Bachelor” Fantasy League

The Alpha team in Hagerstown is pretty consistent with coming up with new stuff. Like this Fantasy League for the TV show “The Bachelor”. A Big Big Bar Tab

One of the stations was looking for a theme for their group contesting. This is a good thing. If we’re going to do these things, we should have fun with them. And they all DO blur together.

For Rock or Country stations, one theme or way to frame cash would be a tab. The imaging could be based on your sudden and instant popularity with people who’d never voluntarily chosen to hang out with you. I went through that phase when we had Brazilian exchange students.
