This was worse then even they imagined. If you feel obligated to solicit donations, Samaritans Purse is an outstanding organization that Hubbard in Cincinnati has partnered with many times. They’re accountable, the money actually GOES to the disaster zone, it’s used effectively and they’re tremendous to work with. https://samaritanspurse.org/our-ministry/hurricane-ian/
Crocktober
An amazing name from Kerri Stein at LM Communications that could be applied to something crockworthy if you’re in a crockcentric market. Minnesota? There could be a crockpot on the state flag.
So maybe it’s recipes? Maybe it’s a Crock Off between the moms of the morning show? It could be filling one up with beans, posting the photo and going high/low to win a crockpot.
Great names should not be left un-used.
Beer Thirty
The Bear in Anchorage does a great feature hosted by Dr. Fermento.
Danny Wright at The River in Santa Rosa does an afternoon feature that highlights one of the hundred craft beers from that idyllic corner of the world. (And it really is)
Crash Your Concessions
This is flat out amazing. It’s done by WIXX in Green Bay, which is a market where youth sports concessions are staffed by parents or by charities and is used as a fundraiser. The station goes to one every week and takes over and with a client’s $$$ money matches up to $500 in what the stand takes in.
