Just Open The Damn Phones    Last weekend I went with some friends and visited someone at Lakewood Cemetery. We sat around and were talking about Gretchen and somehow (you need to know these people) it got off on a tangent about ghosts. All five of us kind of started sharing our stories, like the time Kris Abrams put me at a place in Phoenix where the something was moving around in the hotel bathroom in the middle of the night. If you opened it as a topic, people would most assuredly call in.

Just Open The Damn Social Media    Ditto with ghost photos and weird stuff. My wife has one from her brother-in-law's funeral that defies logic. Michael O'Shea, GM Extraordinaire at Amaturo Broadcasting in Santa Rosa has a Ring cam video of "something" at his door. And this a friend who works for the Red Cross in Portland, returning after getting her hair done on her wedding day. She believes the orb is her dad.

Scary Music/SFX    More and more stations have gone to either a loop of "Thriller" or scary music or SFX from 6 to 8 on Halloween night, sponsored by a client. "We'll be the soundtrack to your door arrivals."

Griswolding A Yard     In 2021 with the return of trick or treating, one of the stations worked with a haunted attraction to trick out a listeners yard so they could be competitive with all of their over-the-top neighbors.
