First Crack At April Fools

A pool/hot tub business was doing some brainstorming last week.

April Fools is not just for Radio.

It’s a Saturday this year and what do we do on Saturday’s? We do remotes. So what if you broadcast from a client that has the first in waterless pools in the market. The concept was developed by NASA so that astronauts at the ISS could swim laps, but since water is heavy, they use chlorine bubbles. So come down, have some pizza and take a lap. You won’t get wet and you won’t have to worry about getting a cramp and drowning. One of the people on the call suggested an image of a fully clothed family toweling off.

‘Tis The Season

We’re in kind of limbo until St. Patrick’s Day but ONE thing that you could play with are Girl Scout cookies. I’d referenced Cookie Finder on my podcast and NOW-FM in Sacramento is promoting that right now. Every market seems to have a thing. In the Twin Cities, it would be “decks”. Peoples decks are a source of solace and pride. In Newfoundland…it’s sheds. You would need to be there to get it, and 97.5 K-Rock has done about 10,000 things with sheds. Here they’re doing a boasting page as they look for the best shed in the province.

While sheds can be behind your house, they can also be on the ice. That’s the beauty of a shed.
