97 Rock in Buffalo is having an 80’s event and one of their promotional tools for the party is free VIP parking for people who drive their 80’s cars to it.

This is a great promotion for having the audience market the station for you.

You find twenty kamikazes who will carry cut outs of the station/talent everywhere they go for a month. They get eliminated if they’re caught without it. For non-kamikazes, you can win daily prizes by snapping and sharing photos of contestants that you run into out on the streets.

In Edmonton it was for a Harley.

In Calgary, it was people living in pink bodysuits to win a trip to see her.

The winner is determined by who gets the most points. You get points by doing stuff, like, “500 points for getting your photo in the lobby of the competition.”

Or “700 points for getting on a live TV shot.”

They are kicking it off at JACK in London, Ontario for $10,000 in cash prizes.
