I was at the grocery store yesterday when a bunch of squads came pulling up. Some Mensa candidate had left their Collie in a pickup with the windows barely cracked. They slim jimmed the door and started dumping water on the dog to cool it down.

One of the Stingray morning shows sat in a hot car with a thermometer and recreated what just five minutes in the car was like. And it was bad. They had an EMT there as a precaution. It would be a great PSA and maybe you could do it in the parking lot of a client like Pet Smart.

The Beach Houses that The Beat in Austin, Z-107.7 in St. Louis, Xtreme in Honolulu and Power 96 were some of the best sounding summer breaks I’ve ever heard. It was like someone took (market) and crammed it into a market. It was the ambient sounds, the people, what was being said. It had a vibe.
