Because A Pandemic Can Still Be Fun

So, my friend Leslie's husband has H1N1. He's sick. She's got her school age kids in masks and, as she puts it, is "driving up the price of Lysol stock by the second."

First, if you could create Family Quarantine Packs and hook people up with DVD's, masks, gloves, Kleenex, ice cream (because, c'mon, who doesn't want ice cream when they're sick?) and have the gowned and masked street teamers deliver them to shut ins, well, that's just good fun...that you might be able to get a client in on.

Again, I revisit the masked artists and jocks from last Spring.

With ALL of that said, what Leslie emailed really struck home: "Todd's going to be fine. He's just a baby about this. I'm worried about me and the kids. I wish we could afford to move into a hotel for a week."

If you could get some rooms to give away to help people relocate until their spouses/whatever recover, that's a great prize.

And for the morning show, it would NOT be stupid to have someone talk about ways to run a house while someone there is down with the flu.

Or do what B-96 in Chicago did and have gowned and masked promo kids deliver prizes and food to sick houses.
