Party Planner
Mike Danger from 98PXY in Rochester once hit me up for a better name for "Club Calendar". Which is what every station in America runs. Either that or "Here's what's happening...". The name I lobbed at Mike was "Party Planner" because, well, that's what it helps people do; plan their night out partying.
96.5 Cayrock on Grand Cayman did a similar feature. It's a very very hip station. So sometimes when you're that cool, you can pull off the "Anti" bit. There was a great character in a Kids In The Hall sketch. "Nina from Joymakers". She was an old, unhip party planner. Having HER as the voice of your Party Planner feature would make it stand out from all the other promos and crap. Which is kind of the point, right?
Your Next Remote/Event Toy
More and more events, whether it's a wedding reception or company party or highschool graduation, are using photo booths. Which you can buy or rent. And are easily sponsorable. (Logistically, hauling it around is something that would need to be addressed.) http://silversnap.com/Site/Silversnap.com.html and http://photoworksinteractive.com/?gclid=CMD2ioitipECFQaYiQodY2sz_w and http://www.bmigaming.com/games-arcade-photobooth.htm?gclid=COq7362tipECFRdPagodZwzVFw are a few of the vendors.
For Spring Break
One of the Clifton stations is doing a mess 'o trips to Spring Break. What if you did Spring Break Starter Kits: a can cooler, a t-shirt and a logoed spray bottle for getting the t-shirt soaked and turning it into a wet t-shirt. Even better would be t-shirts that have a giant circle around the chest area with tiny instructions that say "Wet thoroughly for best results. Wait ten minutes. Re-soak as needed."
