Wired 96.5 Was Higher Then Charlie Sheen!!

Promotions is not Rocket Science. I just did meetings with CBS and Newcap where we talked about how the greatest promotions in history were just stuff that quickly came together.

The whole "offer a job to a celebrity who's in trouble" bit I think goes back to Fatty Arbuckle. (pause while you Wikipedia that) But...if it hasn't been done in your market, it's a homerun.

I lobbed something at Wired in Philly on Monday and yesterday a banner tow was circling Charlie Sheen's house in the exclusive and gated Mulholland Estates section of Beverly Hills. They went up already during AM Drive but his hill area was socked in with fog. Here's the photo from the first trip.

Hatched That Way

Got Gaga coming to town? You know what would be cool? Give out eggs on the air. A dial position number. You win (whatever) and also get an egg. You stick them all in a webcammed incubator and the first one to get out wins a trip to Gaga (or good seats or backstage passes) for its listener. You could probably get a grocery store involved. Though, sticking it in the VIP Club or doing "click and enter" on the website are pretty huge too!!!!!
