Politically Correct Gone Crazy

It's been a pretty crazy week in the world of political correctness. The group Confederate Railroad has been around for a long time ... This week the Illinois State Fair told him not to come ... the performance was dropped.

The Fair has booked Confederate Railroad before but in 2019, the name is now toxic. The Fair general manager said it's in the best interest of all the people in our state that this happen.

Some fans have urged the other bands on the bill to cancel. Confederate Railroad was scheduled to play a '90s Country music alongside Restless Heart and Shenandoah August 27th.

Confederate Railroad's Danny Shirley said he really appreciated all the support he's gotten from athletes and other artists. He has urged the other bands to play; "this is how we pay our bills"

Danny Shirley took the high road; and that's what you're supposed to do. Check out social media, though, and you'll see some things other orders that went pretty public at the time..

I guess their song "Trashy Women" is politically incorrect too these days. The times, they are a' changing.

Maybe you saw where a barista at a Starbucks got some police officers removed in Tempe, AZ. Starbucks said that was all a misunderstanding. The Confederate Railroad dropping seems very clear.

I guess you have to be worried now if you ever go play "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" ... Or maybe "The South's Gonna Do It Again" and for sure "If Heaven Ain't A Lot Like Dixie."

Is "Dixieland Delight" in danger?
